Job purpose
Support the Commitments Department in monitoring and tracking customer commitments, to promptly identify outstanding obligations, overruns, critical deadlines, irregularities and other indicators of portfolio deterioration, and initiate necessary corrective measures.
Responsibilities
Ensure daily monitoring of deadlines and repayments of credits. Identify and track outstanding and late payments. Monitor overruns and anomalies on accounts. Update the commitment monitoring tables. Track credits by cashier and commitments by signature. Follow up on guarantees and their deadlines. Follow the covenants and special conditions of credits. Identify and report situations that pose a risk of degradation. Participate in the monitoring of regularizations and sensitive files. Contribute to the development of weekly and monthly portfolio reports. Ensure the classification and updating of information on commitments.
Training and profile sought
Required training: Bac+4/5 in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics or equivalent field. Financial analysis and risk management. Tools: Good command of Excel and office tools.
Experience and knowledge
A first experience in banking, microfinance or audit firm would be an asset. Technical knowledge: basics on COBAC, BEAC, CEMAC regulations and rules for monitoring, classification and provisioning of receivables. Interpersonal skills: 5 years of minimum experience in credit analysis, preferably in the banking sector. Other skills: proven experience in business credit analysis, mastery of financial analysis and financing structuring, good knowledge of the Cameroonian economic and banking environment.
