Program Coordinator Senegal (M/F)

Created in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international non-governmental organization for emergency relief and development. The SIF acts in strict neutrality, without distinction of origin, gender or religion and is dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the world’s poorest people. SIF is currently looking for a programme coordinator for its mission in Senegal, mainly based in the capital (Dakar). This position is for candidates wishing to perform an international assignment and requires availability for an assignment outside their home country. Your mission

Responsibilities

Under the hierarchical responsibility of the Head of Mission, you will be responsible for managing the project managers. You will also work in collaboration with the administrative-financial, field and logistics coordinators.

Job overview

• Contribute to the development and monitoring of the operational strategy of the Mission: analysis of the context and its evolution, elaboration of problem trees and solutions envisaged, analysis of needs assessment, proposal of new actions, relations with donors and partners.
• To supervise the implementation of projects: planning of activities, follow-up of implementation, collection of verification sources
• Manage project and component managers: briefing, planning, monitoring, coaching, evaluation, performance maintenance, technical knowledge building, etc.
• Determine the budgetary adjustments required for its program.
• Develop project presentation tools (objectives, methodology, activities, results) for authorities, donors, partners, etc.

Candidate profile

Education / Qualifications

• Diploma required: BAC + 5 Minimum in humanitarian or associated professions (agronomic engineer, engineer in rural development or hydraulics ...);

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience in project management or project coordination;
• Experience in education, WASH or food security;
• Proficiency in written and oral French;
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet search methods;
• Proven ability in analysis, information synthesis and writing. Conditions:
• Permanent contract, 6 months, full-time, renewable;
• Start date of contract: As soon as possible;
• Remuneration by profile;
• Per diem, Guest House;
• Health insurance – 60% support by the SIF;
• Repatriation insurance – 100% support by the SIF;
• Break allowance during breaks at 3 and 9 months;
