Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, improving student performance, and fostering a strong understanding of mathematics.

 

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons

Prepare students for internal and external exams

Assess and track student progress

Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment

Develop lesson plans and teaching materials

Provide extra support to struggling students

Collaborate with other teachers and school leadership

Required Skills or Experience

Diploma or Degree in Education (Mathematics preferred)

Minimum 3–5 years teaching experience

Strong knowledge of the Ghana Education Service (GES) curriculum

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Passion for teaching and student development

Skills and Qualities

Strong subject knowledge

Ability to engage and motivate students

Good interpersonal skills

Organized and result-oriented
