Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for finance and customer service? We’re seeking a highly motivated and skilled Loans Officer to join our team. Position: Loan Officer Location : Solwezi Job Overview: To drive business growth through aggressive marketing, client acquisition, quality loan processing and excellent portfolio management. You will be responsible for managing the Salary advance Loan portfolio as per laid down policies and procedures of Kalene and the Industry, while building and nurturing strong client relationships that ensure smooth operations. Key Responsibilities: Marketing & Business Development: Ø Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Solwezi and surrounding areas, ensuring high sales volumes. Ø Conduct aggressive field marketing and product sensitization to our target market. Ø Plan, organise and participate in all marketing activities with the Team in ensuring client acquisition. Ø Build and maintain strategic and long lasting Client relationships to generate referrals and leads. Ø Achieve and exceed monthly targets for new clients, disbursements and portfolio growth. Loan Processing & Appraisal: Ø Ensure compliance with Client eligibility criteria, Client documentation, archiving, reporting and any other audit requirements in line with the laid down Company policies and procedures. Ø Receive, screen and appraise loan applications in line with company credit policy Ø Verify that all loan documentation is fully signed by customers and Kalene representatives before approval and disbursements. Ø Provide general customer service to all walk in clients from both Private Companies and the Government of Zambia. Customer Service & Portfolio Management Ø Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships Ø Proactively manage all loans in arrears as well as written off accounts, ensuring a Portfolio at Risk rate of 5% or below. Ø Constantly monitor and manage the Portfolio ensuring excellent customer service, complaint handling and resolution within 24 Hours and escalating as per need. Ø Monitor loan portfolio and ensure timely repayments, working hand in hand with Back Office in times of collection schedules preparation. Reporting & Compliance: Ø Prepare daily, weekly and monthly Branch progress reports Ø Adhere to all company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements Minimum Requirements & Qualifications: 1. Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Economics or any other Business related field 2. Grade 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O’ Levels including Credit or Better in Mathematics and English plus any other 3 subjects 3. Age 25 years or below 4. 0-2 years’ experience in Microfinance, Banking or Sales is an advantage. 5. A Valid driver’s license will be an added advantage “ Fresh graduates strongly encouraged to apply” Attributes:

• Basic knowledge in financial analysis with strong skills in credit worthiness and financial viability of Loan applicants. Candidate must demonstrate good numerical and analytical skills for the entire credit appraisal process.
• In-depth Knowledge of Lending policies, procedures and Zambian Financial regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Loan Management Systems.
• Result driven – Candidate must be able to meet or exceed targets in Loan origination and Debt collections.
