Optimum Finance is hiring an Accounting and Tax Manager

Main duties

• Supervise accounting operations and ensure the reliability of accounts;
• Carry out closing work and prepare financial statements;
• Control bank reconciliations, suspense accounts and account justification;
• Ensure the proper accounting of credits, deposits, interest, commissions and provisions;
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations and monitoring of declarations and deadlines;
• Produce accounting and tax reports for the Management;
• Participate in audit work and respond to requests from auditors and auditors;
• Monitor accounting and tax regulations;
• Identify and report any significant accounting or tax risk to Management.

Candidate profile

• Bac+4/5 in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Taxation or Management;

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience, including significant experience in banking, microfinance or financial institution;
• Control of financial statements and closing work;
• In-depth knowledge of Cameroonian taxation;
• Knowledge of banking and microfinance;
• Mastery of office tools and accounting software. Required qualities
