Le Rift Valley Institute of Business Studies (RVIBS) est un pôle de développement de carrière dont le campus principal se situe à Nakuru, juste à côté du poste de police de Nakuru Railways. L'établissement a été créé pour révéler le potentiel des jeunes et faire naître des parcours de réussite. Il a d'abord vu le jour comme école de coiffure à Kericho avant de s'installer à Nakuru en 2008 et de s'étendre pour devenir un acteur complet de la formation professionnelle.
Dans le cadre de son Media Talent Academy, RVIBS propose des bourses partielles à des jeunes Kényans dotés de talent et de passion pour les métiers créatifs et des médias. Les candidats retenus bénéficieront de trois mois de formation intensive et pratique, à l'issue d'un processus de sélection compétitif.
