Location

Based on Dakar, Senegal, with regular visits République Democratic Republic of Congo and Niger (2 to 3 times a year). Functional and hierarchical links

Responsibilities

He/she is under the managerial responsibility of the INI Project Manager, and under the functional responsibility of the Coordinator.

• e Monitoring & Evaluation ensures the collection of data for the whole project and coordinates reporting for the lessor. He/she will have the following responsibilities:
• Ensure the implementation of the monitoring and evaluation system in both countries.

• in each country, national M&E plans to complement the M&E system of the INI project.
• Support the implementation of data collection tools and their monitoring procedures for the INI project, in line with the expectations of the lessor.
• Oversee systems for collecting and analysing data on project monitoring indicators, in conjunction with country teams and partners.
• Regularly perform data and indicator analyses, and organize update meetings within ALIMA.
• Ensure the quality of the data collected before including it in project monitoring.
• Ensure timely submission of monitoring and evaluation reports required by the lessor.
• Develop the annual project activity report, in conjunction with the coordination team and country teams
• Fuel project communication and advocacy by providing relevant data on project performance.

Education / Qualifications

• Higher education in development/project management, epidemiology, political science, business school or equivalent.
• Prior experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation of at least 3 years.
• Experience in the design and management of community surveys.
• Experience with data collection systems (Kobo Collect, CommCare, ODK, DHIS2) and dashboards.
• Prior experience on humanitarian or public health medical projects in West Africa. Required qualities
