Since its creation in 2009, ALIMA has reached more than 18 million beneficiaries in 15 countries, mainly in Africa. In 2024, we developed 59 medical humanitarian response projects to meet the needs of populations affected by conflict, epidemics and extreme poverty. All of these projects support national health authorities through health facilities (including hospitals and health centres). Our action stems from a constant adaptation to the realities of the field and the progress of medicine. In 2024, ALIMA reached 5.9 million beneficiaries. We work in partnership, especially with local NGOs, as soon as possible to ensure that our patients benefit from the expertise where it is located, whether at the level of their country or the rest of the world. In addition, to improve the humanitarian response, we carry out operational and clinical research projects, particularly in the field of combating malnutrition and hemorrhagic viral fevers.
