Notre client fournit des services de communications et de technologies de l'information à l'échelle de la mission, en appui aux opérations de la MONUSCO. L'unité de soutien aux infrastructures gère des infrastructures de télécommunications critiques, notamment les systèmes de transmission par micro-ondes, les tours de communication, les systèmes d'antennes, les réseaux radio, les communications par satellite et l'infrastructure électrique de soutien répartie dans toute la zone de la mission.
Les systèmes de communication par micro-ondes constituent un élément essentiel du réseau de communication de la MONUSCO. Ils assurent la connectivité entre les sites de la mission où les services de télécommunications commerciaux sont indisponibles ou peu fiables. Ces systèmes prennent en charge le commandement et le contrôle de la mission, la coordination opérationnelle, les communications de sécurité, les systèmes d'information et la prestation de services sur des sites géographiquement dispersés.
