In 2024 alone, we supported over 2.8 million farmers, collaborating closely with the government to advance national food security initiatives. We also facilitate funding and resources for emerging arises, creating market opportunities for high-value crops such as coffee, avocado, and chili. The Transportation Coordinator will serve as the operational foundation of our Rwanda Country Program, ensuring the fleet—including trucks, motorbikes, and cars—remains safe, accessible, and cost-efficient to guarantee uninterrupted order fulfillment for field teams. Key responsibilities include managing transportation networks and vendor relationships, overseeing transporter onboarding, compliance, and performance, and coordinating assignments, loading logistics, and delivery documentation. The role also entails optimizing fleet utilization, vehicle leasing, and fuel allocation while proactively addressing operational challenges to sustain service excellence. Additionally, the coordinator will develop performance dashboards, track critical metrics such as utilization rates, delivery efficiency, transportation costs, and fuel consumption, and analyze data to uncover trends, cost-saving measures, and process enhancements. To strengthen operational reliability, the coordinator will maintain expertise in transportation networks, site accessibility, road conditions, and logistical constraints, devising route optimization strategies and contingency plans to minimize disruptions. They will also train and mentor field and warehouse teams on transportation protocols, document best practices, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and safety. Candidates should possess 2–3 years of experience in transportation operations, fleet management, or logistics coordination, along with a bachelor’s degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration, or a related field
