This position involves overseeing warehouse operations, ensuring seamless communication regarding any discrepancies or challenges. Key responsibilities include unloading and receiving incoming materials, either manually or with assistance from equipment. The role requires verifying orders, inspecting materials for damage, and processing shipping and receiving transactions through the company’s software system. Additionally, it entails generating all necessary labeling documentation to guarantee accurate shipment of materials, coordinating with multiple departments to address product quality concerns and material availability for further processing or distribution, and conducting cycle counts to validate inventory precision. The position also supports nonconforming material processes and hold tag procedures, maintains a clean and safe work environment, and operates powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts and motorized hand trucks. Furthermore, the role includes assisting with the onboarding and training of new employees, with additional duties assigned as needed. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; however, relevant work experience may be considered in place of formal education. At least one year of prior warehouse experience is required, along with the ability and willingness to use tools and lift or move equipment. The ideal candidate must also be prepared to obtain forklift operator certification.
