Tutorial Fellow, Special Needs Education - Inclusive Education
This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate must have a Master's degree in Special Needs Education (Inclusive Education) from a recognized academic institution, a Bachelor of Education (Special Needs Education) with a specialization in Inclusive Education, two (2) years of teaching experience at the University Level, and registration by the relevant professional body. The role reports to the Dean, School of Education.
Key responsibilities include participating in curriculum development and review, preparing course outlines, developing learning content, teaching Undergraduate, Diploma, and Certificate courses, setting and invigilating examinations, supervising students' projects, carrying out research, attracting funding, facilitating field studies, participating in official meetings, monitoring class attendance, and performing other administrative duties as assigned.
Lecturer, Special Needs Education - Hearing Impairments
This is a full-time position based in Thika. Candidates must have a PhD in Special Needs Education (Hearing Impairments) from a recognized academic institution, a Master's degree in Special Needs Education (Hearing Impairments), a Bachelor of Education (Special Needs Education) with specialization in Hearing Impairment Education, at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the University Level, and registration by the relevant professional body. The role reports to the Dean, School of Education.
Duties include curriculum development, course outline preparation, learning content development, teaching, examination administration, student supervision, research, publication, conference participation, fundraising, field study facilitation, attendance monitoring, and other administrative tasks.
Lecturer, Physiology
This is a full-time position based in Thika. Applicants must have a Masters of Medicine in Physiology from a recognized academic institution, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), at least three years teaching and research experience in a recognized Academic Institution, relevant work experience in Industry, and be registered and licensed to practice by the Relevant Professional Body. An earned PhD degree qualification in the relevant area or being registered/registrable for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree will be an added advantage. The role reports to the Head, Department of Physiology.
Responsibilities include curriculum development, teaching, examination administration, student supervision, research, publication, conference participation, fundraising, field study facilitation, attendance monitoring, and other administrative duties.
