This position oversees general maintenance duties and executes daily repairs for equipment and facilities, while also assisting with projects such as rebuilding pumps, motors, and other workshop-related tasks as required. Responsibilities may occasionally involve handling hazardous materials, waste management, water treatment, and conducting inspections. Essential duties include adhering to safety protocols during all maintenance activities, performing preventative, corrective, and routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently, and completing all necessary documentation accurately. Additional responsibilities encompass troubleshooting equipment failures, diagnosing issues, determining appropriate solutions, and executing repairs. The role requires referencing equipment blueprints, diagrams, or other reference materials to ensure proper inspection, repair, and equipment usage. Maintaining precise records of ongoing and completed work, as well as sustaining a clean work environment, is also expected, along with any other assigned tasks. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, with equivalent work experience considered in place of education. Candidates should possess a minimum of two years of maintenance experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting, along with familiarity with quality management systems. Certification as a forklift operator or the ability to obtain certification is required, as is respirator certification or the willingness to become certified. Successful completion of Hazardous Waste (RCRA) Intermediate level training is also necessary.
