Capital Limited is looking for an exceptionally well-organized, seasoned, and outcome-focused individual to join our team. Senior Storeman To provide leadership and support in the efficient management of stores, inventory, materials, tools, equipment, and associated logistics operations. The ideal candidate will oversee precise inventory management, maintain appropriate storage and preservation of materials, facilitate prompt stock issuance, perform record reconciliation, and ensure adherence to the Company’s internal control protocols and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: The Senior Stoneman’s duties will encompass, among other responsibilities: Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of both the retail store and warehouse facilities. Inspect, verify, and record incoming materials, equipment, tools, and supplies upon receipt. Verify that all incoming goods correspond precisely with purchase orders, delivery notes, and relevant supporting documentation. Maintain precise and current inventory records within the organization’s designated inventory management system. Monitor inventory levels diligently and oversee the prompt restocking of essential materials and consumables to prevent shortages. Distribute materials, tools, and equipment to authorized personnel upon receipt of duly approved requisitions. Perform routine stock counts, execute cycle counts, and conduct periodic physical inventory verifications. Conduct thorough examinations and prepare detailed reports on discrepancies, losses, damages, obsolete stock, and variances within inventory. Maintain accurate labeling, coding, and organization of inventory, ensuring proper stacking, secure storage, and preservation to safeguard all items. Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation is maintained for all goods, including those received, issued, returned, transferred, damaged, or disposed of. Compile and submit inventory and stores reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as mandated. Collaborate effectively with Procurement, Finance, Operations, Maintenance, and other pertinent departments to ensure alignment on stock requirements and availability. Task involves tracking minimum and maximum stock levels and assisting with efficient inventory planning. Proper management and accountability for all issued tools and equipment from the store must be maintained. Ensure the warehouse and stores are consistently maintained in a clean, orderly, and hazard-free condition. Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, health and safety standards, and relevant operational procedures. Provide leadership and direction to Store Assistants and other junior store personnel as needed. Participate in audits and provide all required inventory records and supporting documentation. Perform any other duties reasonably assigned by Management. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or Degree in Stores Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration , or a related field. A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience Responsibilities may include roles within store operations, warehouse logistics, inventory control, or materials management facilities. Previous experience in a senior or supervisory stores position will be an added advantage. Experience working in construction, mining, engineering, manufacturing, or a similar operational environment will be highly advantageous. Strong knowledge of inventory control procedures and warehouse management practices. Experience using inventory management systems, ERP systems, or related software. Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel . Strong numerical, analytical, and record-keeping skills. Knowledge of stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and inventory reporting. Highly developed organizational and time-management capabilities are essential. Maintains a high standard of integrity, demonstrates accountability, and exhibits meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
