Disseminate research findings by presenting them at conferences, seminars, workshops, and webinars to engage diverse audiences and facilitate knowledge sharing. Oversee student projects, theses, dissertations, internships, fieldwork, and placements to ensure academic rigor and practical alignment with program objectives. Engage actively in community engagement initiatives, contribute to committee work, and assist with student outreach programs. Person Specifications a) Qualifications A recognized awarding institution must confer a PhD in Geography, or the applicant must be enrolled in a PhD program in Geography. A recognized awarding institution must confer an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree with a specialization in Education, with a major focus on Geography. b) Experience Applicants must possess a minimum of three years of instructional experience at an accredited postsecondary institution. Having recently published a scientific article within the last two years would be considered a beneficial qualification. c) Competences Utilizes creative and effective pedagogical strategies to engage students and enhance learning outcomes, incorporating innovative instructional approaches tailored to diverse learning needs.
