We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Engineering Manager Location: Ikoyi, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Who We’re Looking For As an Engineering Manager, you will oversee the development and maintenance of our payment platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security. You will lead a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality fintech solutions. What You’ll Do Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire a team of software engineers, promoting professional growth and ensuring high performance. Project Management: Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, and operations teams to deliver integrated and user-centric solutions. Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Technical Strategy: Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps that align with business objectives. Quality Assurance: Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to maintain the highest standards of software quality. What You’ll Need A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 7+ years of proven experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role within the fintech industry. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of making data-driven decisions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Strong understanding of payment systems, APIs, cloud services, and security protocols. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate engineering teams, with a focus on collaboration and professional development. Why Join Us?
