- Collaborate in executing Oil & Gas Business strategies and plans to uncover opportunities and develop financial products, ensuring alignment with Corporate & Commercial business objectives to achieve targeted growth.
Develop and nurture strong connections with both prospective and current clients, proactively identifying their requirements and assessing the appropriateness of services to ensure efficient and prompt customer support. We evaluate the efficacy of existing customer processes to inform product development and enhance business and service offerings, additionally contributing to product launches to ensure a positive market reception. Ensure strict compliance with all policies and guidelines established by the Bank and Regulatory Authorities at all times. Collaborate closely with the Team Lead for Oil & Gas to execute and monitor customer financial strategies, ensuring alignment with established objectives. Efficiently process daily inward clearing checks to ensure they are managed promptly, with the potential for returns to occur on the following day. At minimum, you will produce two annual reviews and two new-to-bank credit application memos each quarter. Ensure customer inquiries forwarded by the Corporate & Commercial relationship team are addressed promptly, with the objective of achieving resolution within a 48-hour timeframe. The individual will oversee the coordination, enforcement, and strict adherence to established turnaround times for tasks executed and implemented by the commercial banking relationship team, including diligent follow-up and timely closure of drawdown tickets.
- Ensure post-approval documentation submitted to the Credit Administration and Legal departments is meticulously reviewed for accuracy and completeness, following up as necessary to resolve any discrepancies or outstanding requirements. You are responsible for extracting and distributing daily performance reports that encompass assets, liabilities, profit before tax (PBT), and revenue performance metrics specific to your sector. Responsibilities include compiling and managing diverse reports across multiple departments, such as those detailing arrears, overdrawn accounts, exceptions, expired insurance policies, and valuation reports, among others. The role involves creating and maintaining accurate, up-to-date Credit Reference Bureau records, ensuring all data is properly inputted, updated, and consistently well-organized. The Corporate & Commercial Banking Relationship Team requires support in drafting correspondence, including letters, reports, and memos, to ensure clear and professional communication within the department. Ensure meticulous maintenance of all call reports, customer credit documentation, and legal records within the credit files for compliance and accuracy. Maintain accurate and up-to-date mirror files for all corporate and commercial customers within the designated repository. In collaboration with the Relationship Team, your responsibility will involve guaranteeing that all commercial accounts consistently adhere to Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance standards. Attend both departmental and cross-functional team meetings, recording and documenting detailed minutes to ensure accurate and comprehensive records of discussions and decisions. As assigned, you may be tasked with additional responsibilities to support evolving operational needs.
