Trade Zone Limited is actively seeking a skilled Electrician to join its team in Lusaka. Duties & Responsibilities Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Interpreting and analyzing technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to extract critical information for project planning and execution is a key responsibility. Performing general electrical maintenance. Conduct thorough examinations of transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components to ensure operational integrity and compliance with safety standards. I diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions by utilizing specialized testing equipment to identify and rectify faults efficiently. Maintaining and restoring equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures to operational condition through repair and replacement processes. Conduct circuit breaker corrective maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance. Skilled in staying current with the latest advancements in HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, as well as proficient in operating a wide range of diagnostic and testing equipment. Requirements and skills Required is a Grade 12 qualification, supported by five (5) “O” Level passes. Diploma/Degree/Craft certificate in Electrical. With a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in the electrical field, you will have demonstrated proficiency in executing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. Proficiency in industrial and commercial electrical systems is required.
