Le candidat retenu sera chargé de préparer et dispenser des cours engageants de physique et de chimie, d'élaborer des plans de cours, du matériel pédagogique et des activités pratiques, de conduire des évaluations, de corriger les devoirs et les examens, d'encadrer les étudiants lors des travaux pratiques en laboratoire, de suivre et soutenir la progression académique des étudiants, de tenir des dossiers académiques précis, de promouvoir la discipline et un environnement d'apprentissage positif, et de participer aux activités départementales et académiques lorsque nécessaire.
Les candidats doivent être titulaires d'une licence en éducation avec une spécialisation en physique et chimie. Une expérience d'enseignement pertinente sera un atout. Une bonne connaissance du programme d'études secondaire et tertiaire zambien est requise, ainsi que d'excellentes compétences en communication et en gestion de classe.
Le candidat idéal doit être passionné par l'enseignement et le développement des étudiants, responsable, ponctuel et fiable, honnête, discipliné et professionnel, patient et accessible, créatif et innovant dans son enseignement, capable d'expliquer clairement les concepts scientifiques, capable de mener efficacement des leçons pratiques, et doté d'un bon esprit d'équipe et d'excellentes compétences interpersonnelles.
