Lipline stands as the world’s largest and most seasoned autonomous drone delivery service, dedicated to equitable access to essential goods such as food, medicine, and critical supplies at any time, in any location. Our operations span four continents, with a delivery occurring every 30 seconds, totaling millions of successful deliveries—including blood, vaccines, medical equipment, food, and retail products. Serving healthcare giants, governments, retailers, restaurants, and global enterprises, Lipline’s solutions enhance supply chains, reduce emissions, and streamline logistics while restoring time and resources to communities. Though drones represent just 15% of our infrastructure, our comprehensive autonomous logistics system enables seamless, reliable, and scalable operations worldwide. With over 140 million commercial autonomous miles flown safely, Lipline is transforming access to healthcare, consumer goods, and food delivery on a global scale. We operate at an expansive level, seeking pragmatic problem solvers who excel in high-pressure, rapidly evolving environments and are driven by systems that create tangible, life-changing impact. In this role, you will contribute to the Lipline Maps team, which develops the high-precision geospatial data infrastructure essential for our fully autonomous drones to navigate intricate urban landscapes—ensuring safe, direct flights from fulfillment centers to homes, businesses, and delivery destinations. These tools will help assess risk, enforce regulatory compliance, and adapt to evolving jurisdictional requirements. As Lipline expands, the need for scalable systems grows, enabling distributed teams worldwide to manage geographic data efficiently. You will evaluate elevation model accuracy, assess ground feature dataset completeness, analyze the impact of new distribution centers, model regulatory shifts, and ensure data remains current amid a constantly changing world. As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing systems that integrate sophisticated backend services with global operational teams. Collaborating with designers, product managers, and map editors, you will craft elegant, user-friendly interfaces that transform complex datasets and workflows into intuitive, actionable tools. This position goes beyond feature development—it’s about shaping the face of Lipline’s technology. Your contributions will be visible in operational dashboards monitoring thousands of daily deliveries, interfaces assisting regulators in evaluating safety and compliance, and design systems empowering our entire engineering organization. Positioning — Your cover letter must answer one question: why YOU for THIS specific role right NOW? Avoid generic templates — one sentence on what you specifically bring beats three generic paragraphs.
Technical leadership — Prepare an example of an architectural decision you made, with constraints (budget, timeline, team) and outcomes. African CTOs look for someone who managed real complexity, not just knows the theory.

- •Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
- •Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
- •Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
- •Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
- •Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
- •A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
