The primary responsibilities for this position include: To safeguard the proper storage, handling, and utilization of chemicals, thereby preventing incorrect or hazardous usage that could endanger themselves and their colleagues. To uphold proper compliance with mandatory safety equipment protocols, all personnel must consistently utilize the required protective gear, such as gloves, boots, goggles, masks, or hats. Our stewardship role encompasses the comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of all hotel surfaces, designated areas, and operational equipment under our jurisdiction, with a primary focus on upholding the establishment’s stringent hygiene standards. To maintain cleanliness and sanitation, this role involves regularly emptying and sanitizing waste bins and designated areas in accordance with the established schedule. To maintain unobstructed exit pathways at all times. To maintain the cleanliness of all dishwashing areas and equipment consistently, and to coordinate with the engineering team regarding maintenance tasks. As the driving force behind the hotel’s energy conservation and environmental initiatives, you will take a proactive and leadership role in developing, implementing, and overseeing policies and practices that promote sustainability and reduce the property’s environmental footprint.
