Partners In Health (PIN), headquartered in Boston, MA, is a globally recognized non-profit organization dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare as a preferential option for the poor. Through service delivery, training, advocacy, and research, PIN bridges the gap in modern medical access for underserved populations worldwide. Operating in countries such as Haiti, Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, Russia, Rwanda, Lesotho, Malawi, Burundi, Kazakhstan, the Dominican Republic, and Boston, PIN’s Rwanda programs partner with the Government of Rwanda through its sister organization, Input Mu Burma (IMB), to strengthen health systems in rural, underserved districts. PIN delivers comprehensive services across non-communicable diseases (NCDs), oncology, surgery, and reproductive, maternal, neonatal, adolescent, and child health (RMN ACH). The Rwinkwavu site serves as a hub for NCD and surgical care, while Irene District focuses on reproductive and maternal health initiatives. The NCD & RMN ACH Research Manager will be primarily stationed in Rwinkwavu, with regular travel to Irene District, where they will lead and oversee research initiatives across both portfolios. Emphasizing NCD-related research, the role requires scientific rigor, operational excellence, and seamless integration with clinical and programmatic teams. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, exceptional scientific writing capabilities, and a proven track record in managing research projects from inception to dissemination. Additionally, they will mentor junior researchers and clinical staff, while guiding quality improvement efforts across both program areas.

  • Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
  • Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
  • Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
  • Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
  • Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
  • A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
