POSITION SUMMARY Responsibilities include transporting vehicles to and from designated cleaning areas and garages, ensuring they are parked in approved locations when not in use. You will examine parts, equipment, and vehicles to verify cleanliness, structural integrity, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Select and apply the correct cleaning agents and personal protective equipment for different surfaces and tasks, in accordance with OSHA guidelines and company protocols. Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of company-owned or managed vehicles, including polishing windows and removing dirt from exterior and interior surfaces using brushes, vacuums, hoses, and other tools. Apply cleaning solutions, scrub as needed, rinse components, and ensure proper drying using racks, squeegees, or air compressors. Maintain cleaning tools and equipment by cleaning, organizing, and storing them correctly after each use. Address cleaning and detailing requests promptly and efficiently. Assess equipment and vehicles for potential maintenance needs and report any issues to management. Conduct routine preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, such as cleaning and lubrication, to ensure optimal performance. Maintain accurate records of all vehicle-related incidents—including damages or accidents—and submit detailed incident reports to your supervisor or manager. Follow all established company policies, as well as safety and security protocols, and promptly report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries. Complete all required safety training and obtain necessary certifications. Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, safeguard proprietary information, and protect company assets. Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate and address their service needs, and provide assistance to individuals with disabilities. Communicate with others using clear and professional language. Foster positive working relationships, actively listen to employee concerns, and respond appropriately. Uphold quality expectations and standards at all times. Inspect tools, equipment, and machinery for defects. Sustain prolonged periods of standing, sitting, or walking throughout an entire shift. Transport, lift, carry, push, pull, and position objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance. Handle objects of varying sizes and weights with precision, utilizing fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and service ramps. Reach overhead, below knee level, and perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping motions. Fulfill any other reasonable job duties as assigned. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, along with three or more years of professional experience in software development, data analysis, or a related technical discipline. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++, and familiarity with databases, cloud services, and software development methodologies such as Agile or DevOps. Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal, are essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additionally, prior experience with machine learning, big data technologies, or cybersecurity is highly advantageous. Education requirements include a high school diploma or its equivalent, such as a G.E.D. No prior relevant work experience is required for this position. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
