The British Red Cross is seeking a Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) Adviser to provide strategic, technical, and operational support to National Societies in Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Chad, and Nigeria. The Adviser will also facilitate knowledge sharing, capacity building, and resource mobilization while ensuring strong partnerships within the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. The position is based in Dakar, Senegal, and involves collaboration with various stakeholders to improve humanitarian action in the Sahel region.

Post-graduate qualification or equivalent experience in response or recovery programming. Strong technical knowledge in Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA). Experience in disaster response project cycle management. Experience in designing and implementing CVA in international contexts. Experience working with local partners and building their capacity. Fluency in English and French. High-level communication and negotiation skills. Ability to travel within the region.
