These outlets are strategically located in Lagos, the country’s commercial hub, as well as in Abuja, the capital city, and Port Harcourt, along with other prominent cities. We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Internal Auditor Location: Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary The internal auditor’s role is crucial in ensuring that an organization’s operations and processes comply with regulations and standards. They perform a comprehensive review of an organization’s processes, systems, and operations to detect any potential risk areas. Their primary responsibilities and duties include Performing the full audit cycle, including risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability, and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations. Analyzing and evaluating the accuracy of accounting systems and procedures, assessing the risk of fraud or wastage in the organization, and verifying that the organization’s policies comply with the legal framework. Preparing and presenting reports that reflect audit results and documenting the process, along with developing and implementing new audit processes to prevent fraud and reduce waste. Interacting with all levels of management and staff within the organization and sometimes working with external stakeholders if necessary. Providing an unbiased perspective to ensure that the organization operates in the best interest of its stakeholders. Identifying areas of potential risk and providing recommendations for improvement. Internal auditors are essential members of an organization’s team who provide independent assurance that an organization’s risk management, governance, and internal control processes are operating effectively. They conduct regular reviews of financial and information systems, management procedures, and internal controls to verify their efficiency and effectiveness. Salary N450,000 – N600,000 per month.
