Purchasing Lead Epiroc is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Purchasing Lead to lead and optimise purchasing processes while ensuring the timely, cost-effective and compliant procurement of goods and services. Functional Area: Supply Chain and Sourcing Work Arrangement: Onsite
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline. CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply or equivalent. Membership of the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply.
At least eight years’ experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain management. Proven experience in supplier management, strategic sourcing and contract negotiation. Strong understanding of procurement principles and purchasing processes. Experience in inventory management, procurement compliance and internal controls. Vendor-onboarding experience. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
