Implement People & Culture strategies by defining clear departmental responsibilities, which encompass talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, workplace safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, compliance, and labor relations. Manage People & Culture functions by overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, coaching, performance guidance, and disciplinary actions. Develop and implement staff evaluation frameworks to assess job contributions, set compensation structures, and drive productivity, quality, and customer service excellence. Design operational systems, allocate necessary resources, troubleshoot challenges, and lead organizational change initiatives to align with strategic goals. Develop strategic financial plans for People & Culture operations by projecting, forecasting, and evaluating financial needs, trends, and deviations, ensuring optimal allocation of monetary resources, crafting implementation strategies, and assessing performance through data-driven analysis. Implement proactive measures to address discrepancies and mitigate the effects of variances where necessary. Deliver special project outcomes by diagnosing and prioritizing issues, facilitating clear communication of requirements, accelerating fulfillment processes, assessing milestone achievements, exploring alternative strategies, and adjusting assumptions and direction as needed. Guide management and employee practices by researching, developing, drafting, and revising policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines, as well as reinforcing and upholding organizational values. To maintain compliance with legal standards, you will analyze current and emerging ILO and local labor legislation, proactively identify potential regulatory changes, implement necessary measures to meet requirements, and provide strategic guidance to management on required actions. To stay current in the field, you should enhance your expertise by attending industry conferences, pursuing educational courses, reviewing professional journals, cultivating professional relationships, and engaging with relevant industry associations. By taking initiative to address new and varied requests, you will elevate both departmental and organizational reputation while contributing added value to key responsibilities and job outcomes. Seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments, along with adaptability to evolving priorities and technologies. A master’s or bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, social sciences, or a closely related discipline is required. A postgraduate diploma in Human Resource Management would be considered a valuable asset for this role. Requires a minimum of twelve years of professional experience, with at least five of those years served in a senior management capacity within a financial institution or a comparable services organization. Requires at least seven years of hands-on experience in human resource management roles. Professionals with prior exposure to the banking sector will be particularly well-suited for this role.
