Broadleaf Credit Limited is currently looking for two (2) highly motivated and performance-oriented Branch Supervisors to strengthen our team. One opportunity is located in Able, while the other is situated in Sole. Job Purpose The Branch Supervisor oversees daily branch operations, manages staff performance, and drives business expansion while upholding portfolio quality and adherence to regulatory standards. Additionally, they are tasked with maintaining exceptional customer service levels and ensuring full compliance with industry regulations. The position is responsible for driving branch performance to meet established targets, overseeing risk management, fostering staff development, and maintaining operational excellence in alignment with company policies and strategic goals. Key Duties and Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight to Loan Officers as well as other branch personnel. Achieve branch business growth by implementing strategic marketing initiatives, acquiring new clients, and expanding the portfolio. Track and evaluate branch performance relative to disbursement, collections, portfolio quality, and profitability benchmarks. Evaluate and authorize loan applications that fall within the designated authority parameters, while escalating higher-value submissions for further approval consideration. Conduct thorough credit assessments, prepare accurate loan documentation, and strictly comply with established lending policies and procedures. Monitor portfolio performance and execute targeted strategies to reduce delinquency rates and mitigate loan losses. Manage recovery and collections operations to guarantee prompt repayment of loans. You will facilitate routine assessments of branch performance and deliver individualized coaching, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to team members. Accurate operational, financial, and portfolio performance reports must be prepared and submitted in a timely and compliant manner. Maintain adherence to organizational policies, internal control frameworks, risk management standards, and applicable regulatory mandates. Build and nurture strong customer relationships while effectively addressing and resolving escalated customer concerns with professionalism and expertise. Spearhead the planning and execution of branch marketing campaigns, community outreach programs, and business development strategies to drive growth and engagement. Track competitive movements and evolving market dynamics, then propose strategic initiatives to bolster market position. Safeguard all branch assets, records, and confidential information with the utmost diligence and care. Create a collaborative work environment that prioritizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous professional growth. Handle any additional tasks or responsibilities as directed by Management. Quality portfolio oversight and management of the Portfolio at Risk (PAR) metrics represent essential responsibilities within this role. Collections efficiency and recovery performance are critical metrics for assessing the effectiveness of debt collection processes. The role demands a keen focus on optimizing collection strategies to enhance recovery rates while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities include analyzing delinquency trends, implementing targeted collection actions, and leveraging data-driven insights to improve overall performance. Strong analytical skills, negotiation proficiency, and a results-oriented mindset are essential to achieve and exceed performance targets. Branch profitability and operational efficiency are critical to our organization’s success, requiring a keen focus on revenue growth, cost management, and resource optimization. This role demands a strategic approach to analyzing financial performance, identifying trends, and implementing measures to enhance profitability while streamlining operations for maximum effectiveness. Efficiently oversee and enhance staff productivity and performance management. Ensure adherence to all established company policies as well as applicable regulatory standards. Customer satisfaction and retention. Reliable and prompt submission of branch reports is essential. Ensuring that branch reporting is both precise and delivered without delay is a key responsibility. Minimum Qualifications and Experience A relevant academic qualification, such as a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or a closely related discipline, is required. A minimum of three years of professional experience within microfinance, banking, lending, or financial services is required, including at least one year in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Demonstrates a robust proficiency in credit assessment, the administration of loan portfolios, and the execution of collections processes. Demonstrated expertise in guiding, inspiring, and nurturing high-performing teams to achieve organizational objectives. Proven expertise in business development and relationship management is essential. Proven expertise in communication, negotiation, and problem resolution, with a strong ability to convey ideas clearly and influence outcomes effectively. Demonstrated capacity to perform effectively in high-pressure situations while consistently meeting established performance benchmarks. Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office applications is required. Familiarity with microfinance regulations and adherence to industry best practices is highly desirable.
