With a mission rooted in social justice, PIN advances health equity through service delivery, training, advocacy, and research across multiple countries, including Haiti, Peru, Guatemala, Rwanda, and others. In Rwanda, PIN collaborates with the Government of Rwanda through its affiliated organization, Input Mu Burma (IMB), to enhance public health systems in rural and marginalized districts. PIN’s work spans non-communicable diseases (NCDs), oncology, surgery, and reproductive, maternal, neonatal, adolescent, and child health (RMN ACH), with Rwinkwavu serving as a hub for NCD and surgical services and Irene district as a focus for maternal and reproductive health initiatives. The NCD & RMN ACH Research Manager, based primarily in Rwinkwavu with frequent travel to Irene, will oversee research initiatives within both portfolios, emphasizing NCDs, while ensuring methodological rigor, high-quality execution, and seamless integration with clinical and program teams. The role demands deep expertise in qualitative and quantitative research, exceptional scientific writing abilities, and a proven track record of leading research projects from inception to dissemination. Additionally, the position involves mentoring junior researchers and clinical staff involved in research activities, as well as guiding quality improvement (QI) projects to enhance program effectiveness.
