Partners In Health (PIN), a globally recognized non-profit organization headquartered in Boston, MA, is dedicated to delivering preferential health care options to underserved populations worldwide. With a mission centered on service delivery, training, advocacy, and research, PIN extends its impact across regions including Haiti, Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, Russia, Rwanda, Lesotho, Malawi, Burundi, Kazakhstan, the Dominican Republic, and Boston. In Rwanda, PIN collaborates with the Government of Rwanda through its affiliate, Input Mu Burma (IMB), to enhance public health systems in rural and underserved districts. PIN’s services encompass non-communicable diseases (NCDs), oncology, surgery, and reproductive, maternal, neonatal, adolescent, and child health (RMN ACH). Rwinkwavu serves as a critical hub for NCD and surgical services, while Irene district is a primary focus for reproductive and maternal health initiatives. The NCD & RMN ACH Research Manager will be primarily stationed in Rwinkwavu, with regular assignments in Irene district. This role demands leadership in designing, managing, and executing research initiatives spanning NCD and RMN ACH portfolios, with a particular emphasis on NCDs, while ensuring methodological rigor, high-quality implementation, and seamless collaboration with clinical and program teams. The ideal candidate will possess advanced expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, exceptional scientific writing abilities, and a proven track record in managing research projects from inception to dissemination. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior researchers and clinical staff engaged in research activities and providing oversight for quality improvement (QI) initiatives across both program areas.

  • Never pay any amount of money — for a file, a training, a uniform, or an interview. A real employer never asks the candidate to pay.
  • Never send a photo of your ID card, passport, or banking details before you have physically verified the employer exists.
  • Always meet in a public place, during the day — never an isolated address, a private home, or a location you cannot verify in advance.
  • Tell a relative or friend exactly where you are going, with whom, and at what time — and share your live location if possible.
  • Search the company name online before going: a real business has a trace (website, reviews, other employees, an official address).
  • A salary that is far above the market rate for the position and the city is a red flag — be extra cautious.
