TERMS OF REFERENCE Under the supervision of the Chief of Education, the consultant will lead a comprehensive documentation, systematization, and institutionalization process of the I Am Music initiative, a flagship intervention that uses artistic and cultural expression as a catalyst for behaviour change, social inclusion, gender transformation, protection, and learning among children and adolescents, particularly girls and children and adolescents living with disabilities. If you would like to know more about this consultancy, please review the complete Terms of Reference here: TMC0005024 ToR.pdf Minimum requirements: Education: Advanced university degree (Master's or higher) in: Social Work, Anthropology, Psychology, Law, Sociology, Child development, Gender, Cultural and Artistic Expression, Education, Development Work Experience: A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in program planning, management, monitoring and evaluation in developing countries is required. Language Requirements: French requirement. English is an asset Knowledge/Expertise/Skills: Relevant experience with UNICEF and/or other UN Agencies is required, particularly on issues of gender, adolescents, cultural initiatives, protective learning environments or life skills development. Relevant field experience in Africa is required, and field experience in Cameroon is considered as an asset. Having managed cultural and artistic programs in Africa or other developing contexts is required. Having managed cultural and artistic programs in Cameroon is an asset. Experience in applied research and evidence generation would also be desirable. Desirables: Proven knowledge on gender and inequity issues in relation to education and development in developing and humanitarian contexts and the application of gender / equity analysis to policy and reporting in education. Reporting on the planning, budgeting and managing cultural programs/projects in developing countries (culture as a means of development). Reporting on advocacy, networking, event organization, generating and using evidence for policy making.
