Responsibilities – Professional-Quality Filmmaking & Storytelling: Capture visually striking, emotionally resonant video and audio footage using DSLR and smartphone cameras, while coordinating and directing video shoots in all operational countries, in collaboration with local teams. – Professional-Quality Video Editing & Storytelling: Design storyboards and scripts aligned with creative briefs post-shoot, subtitle videos in seven or more languages, repurpose footage for varied applications, and create bespoke motion graphics that maintain brand consistency. – Expert Interviewing & Narrative Development: Identify and develop compelling field stories based on directives, conduct interviews that extract engaging, authentic, and emotionally compelling responses to advance narrative arcs, and analyze farmer reports to conceptualize potential storylines before conducting interviews. – Video Systems Management: Oversee freelancers or host donor-selected video crews for shoots as needed, curate and maintain One Acre Fund’s extensive video archive and footage library, and develop and oversee the organization’s video production schedule to ensure transparency for stakeholders.
