Background Advocate for Community Development and Environmental Protection (ACO DEP) is seeking qualified candidates for an upcoming cross-sectoral initiative centered on enhancing women’s involvement in environmental peace building, climate action, the prevention of gender-based violence and sexual-and-gender-based violence, human rights advocacy, and environmental justice. A single position is available on a one-year contract basis, with the possibility of renewal. Focused on addressing gender-based violence (GBV), sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV), the needs of persons with disabilities (PWDs), child protection, as well as supporting youth and women’s empowerment initiatives. JOB SUMMARY The Community Services Officer will provide assistance to community-based initiatives addressing gender-based violence, sexual and gender-based violence, child protection, disability inclusion, youth empowerment, and women’s participation. Oversee the full lifecycle of assigned projects, from initial conceptualization and planning to final execution and delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
