The Field Security Associate will support the Field Security Officer in monitoring security issues and ensuring compliance with security policies in Niamey, Niger. The role involves providing security advice, inspecting facilities, reviewing travel requests, and briefing staff on security matters. The associate will also assist in implementing the IDLO Security Policy and maintaining effective security procedures. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively in both French and English. High school diploma or relevant training in security Minimum 3 years of security experience in UN/NGO/IGO Excellent written and oral French and English Understanding of security risk management principles Ability to monitor and report on security developments Practical knowledge of safety and security procedures Ability to draft security advisories and reports Coordination and liaison skills Sound judgment in complex environments Ability to remain calm during emergencies Good interpersonal and briefing skills Proficiency in office software and communication tools
