Total Data Limited, a management consultancy firm specializing in the provision of Human Resources and Manpower solutions to its clients across Nigeria, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Objective: Provide strategic financial direction, planning, implementation, and management of all financial activities of Total Data Limited. As the key member of the executive management team, the Finance Manager interacts with senior stakeholders and other members of a company. Ensure that approved expenses are aligned with the overall budget. Champion cost leadership and operational efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Providing leadership, direction and management of the finance team. Providing strategic recommendations to the MD, Management Team and Board of Directors. Managing the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting. Advising on long-term business and financial planning. Providing commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets. Responsible for ensuring the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the company. Establishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders. Reviewing all formal finance related procedures. Monitor budget and provide cost control to ensure compliance with TDL’s policies. Ensure monthly payment of staff salaries. Ensure clients reimburse monthly payroll amounts in line with SLA. Ensure prompt and accurate remittance of statutory deductions. Liaise with external parties such as TDL’s bankers, tax authorities, financial consultants, etc. Co-ordinate payment to vendors in adherence to SLAs and the company’s procedure/policies. Management of office asset register. Other official tasks assigned.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI): Revenue Growth, Cost Reduction, Audit Defect Rate, Compliance, Employee Satisfaction level, Training Turn around time, Issue Resolution & Quality Rate, Implementation of Efficient & Effective Policies, Procedures & Processes, Compliance with all statutory deductions, Stake Holders Management, Strategic initiatives, Customer Retention, Customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

Education: Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Economics. Higher degrees / Professional certifications (MBA, ACA, ACCA).

Experience: Minimum experience – 10 years’ experience in the finance industry and proven leadership and management experience in the workplace.

Key Competency Requirements:

Knowledge: Accounting/Budgeting, IFRS standards, Nigerian tax regulations, Payroll System, PAYE statutory deductions and remittances, HR policies and procedures, HR Information systems, Service Level Agreement Management, Cost Optimization.

Skill / Competencies: Accuracy and attention to detail, Excellent time management and organisation skills, Interpersonal skills, IT Literacy, Excellent Communications skills (written and oral) with strong business and customer focus, Reasoning and Analytical Skills, People management, Supervisory skills.
