Expérience
The Region-based Investment Specialist (RIS) at UNCDF will manage a portfolio of programs and projects aimed at mobilizing public and private capital flows for SDG-positive investments in West and Central Africa and LAC. The role involves providing investment advisory support, ensuring quality and consistency in project design, and resource mobilization from various stakeholders. The RIS will work closely with development partners to design SDG-aligned initiatives and oversee the deployment of financial instruments. This position requires frequent travel and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to achieve strategic goals. Advanced university degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration Minimum 7 years of experience in financial or private sector with investment management Experience in project preparation and development of investment opportunities Fluency in English and French; Spanish is a plus Experience in managing complex teams and projects in emerging markets
