Job Summary
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Gardener to maintain the landscaping and green areas within our factory, office, and dormitory premises. The successful candidate will ensure that all gardens and landscaped areas remain clean, healthy, attractive, and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Water, fertilize, prune, weed, and replant flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants.
Monitor and control pests and plant diseases to maintain healthy vegetation.
Maintain gardens and green areas within the factory, office, and dormitory premises.
Remove dead branches, fallen leaves, weeds, and other garden waste.
Maintain and properly use gardening tools and equipment.
Inspect and maintain irrigation systems and facilities to ensure proper functioning.
Keep all green areas clean, neat, safe, and aesthetically appealing.
Support landscaping and planting activities as required.
Ensure gardening tools and equipment are kept clean, secure, and in good working condition.
Perform any other duties related to gardening and landscaping as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification.
Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, horticulture, or a related field will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of basic gardening, plant care, irrigation, pruning, and pest control.
Ability to operate and maintain basic gardening tools and equipment.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods.
Good work ethic, reliability, and attention to cleanliness.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision.
