Nexa International School, located in Kiu-Kenda Estate off Kiambu-Kamiti Road, Kenya, is recruiting for several positions. We offer a dynamic learning environment that focuses on holistic student development, preparing students for success in a rapidly evolving world.

Open Positions:

Teacher-ICT/ Mathematics (Full Time, Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, Job Field: Education / Teaching / Training, ICT / Computer)

Profile: Bachelor of Education degree (relevant subject area), TSC Registration, at least 1 year teaching experience in IGCSE (Cambridge curriculum), strong classroom management and commitment to learner success. Experience with a candidate class is an added advantage.

Compensation: Salary ranging between KES 25,000 – 45,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Teacher-Art & Geography (Full Time, Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, Experience: 1 year, Location: Kiambu, Job Field: Art / Crafts / Languages, Education / Teaching / Training)

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Education degree (relevant subject area), TSC Registration, at least 1 year teaching experience in IGCSE (Cambridge curriculum), strong classroom management and commitment to learner success. Experience with a candidate class is an added advantage.

Compensation: Salary ranging between KES 25,000 – 45,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Teacher-P1 Teacher (Full Time, Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, Experience: 1 year, Location: Kiambu, Job Field: Education / Teaching / Training, Sports, Fitness and Personal Care)

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Education degree (relevant subject area), TSC Registration, at least 1 year teaching experience in IGCSE (Cambridge curriculum), strong classroom management and commitment to learner success. Experience with a candidate class is an added advantage.

Compensation: Salary ranging between KES 25,000 – 45,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Teacher-Early Years Intern (Full Time, Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, Location: Kiambu, Job Field: Education / Teaching / Training, Internships)

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Education degree (relevant subject area), TSC Registration, at least 1 year teaching experience in IGCSE (Cambridge curriculum), strong classroom management and commitment to learner success. Experience with a candidate class is an added advantage.

Compensation: Salary ranging between KES 25,000 – 45,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Psychology Teacher (Full Time, Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, Experience: 2 years, Location: Kiambu, Job Field: Education / Teaching / Training)

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Education with experience teaching Psychology (compulsory), TSC Registration, at least 2 years’ teaching experience (Cambridge curriculum experience is an added advantage), strong classroom management and commitment to learner success. Experience with a candidate class is an added advantage.

Compensation: The budget for this role is open and will be based on qualifications.

School Driver (Full Time, Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, Experience: 2 years, Location: Kiambu, Job Field: Driving)

Key Responsibilities: Safely transport learners and staff to and from school, trips, and other authorized destinations. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure the school vehicle is clean, safe, and roadworthy. Observe all traffic laws, school transport policies, and road safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel usage, mileage, vehicle maintenance, and incidents. Report vehicle faults, accidents, delays, or any safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.

Requirements: Minimum of 2 years’ driving experience, preferably in a school or institutional setting. A valid driving license, with the appropriate categories such as D1, D2, or equivalent, as required. Clean driving record with good knowledge of road safety rules, traffic regulations, and defensive driving practices.

Skills: Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to conduct basic vehicle checks, identify minor mechanical faults, and promptly report any major issues.

School Administrator (Full Time, Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, Experience: 2 - 3 years, Location: Kiambu, Job Field: Administration / Facilities)

Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day administrative operations and ensure the school office runs efficiently. Provide excellent customer service and professional communication to parents, staff, learners, and visitors. Maintain accurate school records, files, correspondence, and administrative documentation. Coordinate school schedules, meetings, appointments, events, and general administrative activities.

Main Missions: Support admissions, enrolment, student records, fee-related administrative processes, and parent inquiries. Liaise with staff, management, parents, and external service providers to ensure smooth school operations.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in school administration or a similar administrative role. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management/ERP systems. High level of professionalism, confidentiality, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a school environment.

Compensation: Competitive salary ranging between KES 25,000 – 40,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

HR and Admin Assistant (Maternity Cover) (Full Time, Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, Diploma, Experience: 1 - 2 years, Location: Kiambu, Job Field: Human Resources / HR)

Key Responsibilities: Support recruitment, onboarding, and HR documentation. Maintain staff files, attendance, and leave records.

Responsibilities: Assist with front-desk duties and parent inquiries. Prepare letters, reports, and school documents. Manage office supplies and general administrative tasks. Help coordinate school events and staff activities.

Requirements: Diploma/Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field. 1–2 years’ experience in HR or administration (school experience is an advantage). Strong communication & customer service skills. Proficiency in MS Office or Google Workspace. High level of integrity, organization, and attention to detail.
