The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical installations, maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and related site work on residential and commercial properties.

Duties and responsibilities

• Fault finding and repairs on electrical systems
• Installation and repair of wiring, fixtures, and control equipment
• Electrical maintenance on residential and commercial properties
• Generator maintenance, servicing, and repairs
• Solar maintenance, servicing, and repairs
• Working on single-phase and three-phase systems
• Completing job cards and work orders accurately
• Working under pressure and within deadlines
• Participating in standby when required

Minimum requirements

• Qualified or semi-qualified electrician
• Minimum 3 years’ fault-finding experience
• Strong knowledge of neutral-to-earth faults and general electrical fault diagnosis
• Experience with generator maintenance and repairs
• Experience with residential and commercial electrical maintenance
• Valid Code 8 driver’s licence (would be an advantage)
• Sober habits
• Contactable references
• Proof of qualifications and previous work experience
• Able to work well in a team
• Must be based in or near Randburg / able to travel to Randburg daily
