The Clinical Officer is responsible for providing quality outpatient and inpatient clinical care through patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. The role involves promoting preventive healthcare, maintaining accurate medical records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes. Jobs Key Responsibilities Clinical Care Assess, diagnose, and treat patients according to established clinical guidelines. Prescribe medications and appropriate treatment plans. Manage medical emergencies within the scope of practice. Refer patients requiring specialized care to appropriate facilities. Patient Management Maintain accurate and confidential patient records. Educate patients on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle practices. Participate in health promotion and community outreach programmes where required. Compliance Adhere to professional standards, hospital policies, and ethical guidelines. Participate in continuous quality improvement activities. Perform any other duties assigned by management. Minimum Qualifications Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health or an equivalent qualification. Valid practicing licence from the relevant professional council.
