This role encompasses responsibilities such as handling field bookkeeping, processing expenditures, tracking burn rates, and preparing monthly financial reports. Oversee a comprehensive range of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance evaluation to ensure organizational goals are met efficiently. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity, compliance, and innovation across all departments. Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to drive project success and meet established deadlines. Analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment with business objectives while addressing concerns and resolving conflicts proactively. Monitor budget adherence, resource allocation, and financial performance to optimize expenditures and maximize return on investment. Maintain precise documentation of all cash and bank transactions via QuickBooks, verifying that allocations are correctly assigned to donor codes. Conduct monthly budget-versus-actual (BVA) reviews in collaboration with the Project Team Leader, identifying and addressing variances promptly to mitigate potential risks. Responsible for meticulously examining financial claims, invoices, purchase orders, and perdie sheets to confirm that all necessary supporting documentation is present prior to processing payments. Oversee the Kiryandongo field office’s bank accounts and petty cash funds while ensuring prompt submission of cash forecast requests to headquarters.

Ensure adherence to SAT policies, donor regulations set by the War Child Alliance, and Ugandan tax obligations, including WHT and PAYE. The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications: a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, at least three years of experience in a similar role, and strong proficiency in industry-standard software.
