In Ghana, TREE AID is working more in the five regions of Northern Ghana with some scope of working in the Oti and Bono regions.

Job Description

JOB TITLE

Project coordinator (GHANA) – Tiisi Tenga project

ORGANISATION:

TREE AID Ghana

REPORTING TO

Country programme manager TREE AID Ghana and matrix line manager - Country Director.

KEY  RELATIONSHIPS

Country Finance Manager (TAGH), Head of Programme Implementation(WA), Head Programme Design (WA), Regional Communication & Advocacy Officer

RESPONSIBLE FOR

implementation and reporting on the project in Ghana

PURPOSE

Oversee the planning and reviews, implementation, and monitoring of the project. Strong relationships with strategic partners.

LOCATION

Upper East and North-East regions of Ghana with periodic visits to the Tamale office. Frequent or occasional visits to other countries covered by Tree Aid.

TYPE OF CONTRACT

One year renewable with a probation of 03 months, subject to performance and funding availability.

Job Summary

The Project Coordinator will oversee the general coordination, implementation, and monitoring of the Tiisi Tenga project. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, planning and reviews and ensuring compliance the project standards, and driving project outcomes to achieve environmental and social impact goals.

Required Skills or Experience

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum master’s degree in Environmental Science, rural development studies, forestry, Project Management, or agriculture economics, or other related a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in carbon credit or sustainability projects.

Strong knowledge of carbon credit standards and methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in project management tools and software.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
