Expérience
The Chief Investment Business Officer is a senior executive tasked with directing Bio Saw Biotechnology’s investment strategy, portfolio oversight, and capital allocation initiatives. This position is responsible for asset allocation, investment performance evaluation, and risk mitigation to foster sustainable expansion, while functioning as a pivotal intermediary between the company, investors, partners, and the Board of Directors. The role is based in Kigali, Rwanda. Responsibilities include establishing and implementing the company’s investment principles, risk protocols, and long-term asset distribution strategies; managing the investment portfolio through performance tracking, market analysis, and high-level investment choices; spearheading capital acquisition efforts and cultivating relationships with institutional, private, and impact investors; developing and enforcing risk management, liquidity, and compliance frameworks in alignment with governance and regulatory standards; overseeing internal investment teams and coordinating with external fund managers and advisory firms; and presenting investment outcomes and strategic perspectives to senior leadership and the Board. Candidates must possess executive-level expertise in investment management, corporate finance, or strategic business development, along with a demonstrated history in portfolio supervision, fundraising, and investor engagement. While prior experience in biotechnology, life sciences, healthcare, or adjacent fields is advantageous, a background in leadership, analytical reasoning, governance, and stakeholder communication remains essential.
