The Key Purpose The incumbent will deliver essential laboratory assistance to the value chain, conducting thorough inspections and analyses on BOP’s raw materials to ensure the production of beer that meets ABInBev’s stringent quality benchmarks. Key roles and responsibilities:

• Preparation samples for analysis Conduct in-process evaluations throughout the manufacturing cycle to ensure adherence to quality standards and operational efficiency.
• Operate all laboratory equipment
• Record, evaluate and report results timeously Demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting methodologies and perform comprehensive root cause analysis to effectively resolve issues. Responsible for performing regular maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of laboratory equipment in accordance with established schedules to ensure operational accuracy and reliability. Conducting laboratory technical and packaging GMP audits is essential, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, you will uphold and improve 5S methodologies by rigorously maintaining housekeeping and safety protocols to foster a clean, organized, and secure work environment. Conducts thorough examinations of interlaboratory ring test samples to evaluate proficiency and consistency across participating facilities.

Self-motivated and initiative Minimum Requirements: A minimum qualification of a Diploma in Laboratory Science, Food Science, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related field is required. Minimum 6 to 12 months of on-the-job training is required. With a minimum of one to two years of hands-on experience in laboratory, brewing, or packaging operations, the ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in relevant processes and protocols. Individuals with prior involvement in the food sector or laboratory settings are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with food production processes or laboratory operations is required for consideration.
