ARC secured a five-year cooperative agreement, funded by the USG, to execute the Uganda Health Activity (UHF), an integrated health delivery initiative spanning seven subregions—Eastern, East Central, Acholic, Mango, Saratoga, Ankle, and Kigali—across Uganda. The Uganda Health Activity collaborates with the Government of Uganda (YOU) to enhance population survival, well-being, and health system resilience across seven priority regions. The initiative is tasked with improving the quality and accessibility of maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH), nutrition, and facility-level water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) services, while simultaneously bolstering health systems at regional, district, facility, and community levels. To advance its mandate, UHF conducted comprehensive assessments of health infrastructure requirements across all seven supported regions in Uganda, aiming to enhance access to healthcare by ensuring the functionality of renovated and newly constructed health facilities. ARC/JOSHUA is actively seeking qualified and eligible firms, referred to as “offerers,” to meet its urgent and ongoing construction, renovation, and remodeling requirements in alignment with the Ministry of Health’s infrastructure priorities. Interested organizations are invited to submit responses to this Request for Expression of Interest (EOI), with the objective of compiling a roster of pre-qualified firms eligible to submit quotations for all present and upcoming construction, renovation, and remodeling projects undertaken by UHF. Successful bids will be maintained for potential future engagements, enabling participants to compete in a simplified bidding process and submit quotes for designated projects or services. This approach will facilitate ARC’s procurement of upcoming construction works via a streamlined yet effective method. (Organizations already included in the prequalification list for ARC Uganda Health Activity under EOI FY26-UHA-10 are exempt from reapplying.) Interested parties should carefully review the following bidding instructions to ensure full compliance with all specified requirements.
