Role Summary
Support the learning and wellbeing of children/young adults with disabilities and vulnerable learners through inclusive education, assessments, skills training, counselling, and parent support.
Responsibilities
Teach and support learners in the inclusive programme. Assess learners and develop Individual Learning Plans (IEPs). Provide skills development, basic counselling & psychosocial support. Support parents/caregivers and maintain learner records/reports. Collaborate with project staff, schools & stakeholders.
Profile Sought
Certificate or Diploma in Special Education / Special Needs Education. Experience with PWDs and vulnerable children is an added advantage. Basic counselling knowledge, good communication & teamwork skills. Passion for inclusive education. Practical skills in sewing, food production, agriculture, crafts etc. is an added advantage.
