How can you make a difference?
The Health and Nutrition Officer reports directly to the Chief of Field Office, with dotted functional reporting lines to technical Section’s chief for guidance and support on specialized health HIV and nutrition interventions. The role places particular emphasis on strengthening health and community systems, including immunization in emergencies. The Health and Nutrition Officer provides technical, operational, and administrative assistance throughout the Health and Nutrition programming process, supporting routine immunization and campaigns as applicable. The Officer prepares, manages, and implements a variety of technical and administrative tasks, related to the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Health and Nutrition programs portfolio, including surveillance, preparedness and response to vaccine-preventable diseases (with a focus on poliovirus detection and response, cholera, measles), Mpox, and accompany the effective nutrition and health clusters transition to sector coordination.
