Deliverables
Coordinate day-to-day Secretariat operations and member experience for a Kenya-based climate and governance platform during a formative set-up period, helping translate early momentum into a repeatable operating model for growth.
Support Glue Up CRM implementation, member registration, onboarding workflows, member records, membership categories, event-registration workflows, renewal reminders, engagement tracking, and reporting extracts that strengthen the platform's member experience.
Serve as the focal point for member communications, engaging board directors, founders, executives, corporate members, and individual members with a polished service orientation.
Coordinate Steering Committee administration and operating rhythm, including scheduling, minutes, action tracking, follow-ups, and documentation that keeps strategic priorities moving.
Coordinate high-level member events and communications, including logistics, vendor coordination, briefing materials, invitations,
Coordinate governance, compliance, donor, financial, and operational administration with relevant technical leads, including compliance calendars, statutory and tax filing coordination, board-paper preparation, donor documentation, impact narratives, and proposal or pitch-material inputs.
Experience Required
At least four years of experience in Secretariat coordination, operations, executive support, high-touch member services, programme administration, or comparable roles.
Experience coordinating multiple workstreams, maintaining operating rhythms, following up across stakeholders, and keeping records and action trackers up to date.
Experience supporting membership registration, onboarding, engagement, CRM or member-platform workflows, membership categories, event-registration processes, renewal reminders, or comparable stakeholder-management systems.
Experience supporting boards, committees, or senior stakeholder forums, including scheduling, meeting preparation, minutes, action tracking, and follow-through.
Experience supporting governance, compliance, donor reporting, or resource-mobilization processes, including compliance calendars, board documents, financial documentation, impact narratives, proposal inputs, or pitch materials.
Experience coordinating events and communications for senior audiences, including invitations,
Exposure to donor-funded, nonprofit, association, governance-platform, financial-services, professional-services, or premium member-service environments is advantageous.

Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance, Public Policy, Sustainability, or a related field.
Strong coordination and operating discipline, including the ability to translate priorities into practical workplans, manage action trackers, and maintain clean records.
Ability to support CRM or member-management implementation, maintain member data, manage onboarding workflows, membership categories, event-registration workflows, renewal reminders, and practical engagement and reporting extracts. Glue Up experience is beneficial but not required.
Strong writing ability across executive correspondence, member invitations,
Ability to coordinate event logistics, vendor processes, meeting preparation, and stakeholder communications for senior audiences.
Working ability to coordinate budgets, vendor invoices, expense claims, donor documentation, compliance inputs, statutory and tax filing processes, board papers, impact narratives, and proposal or pitch-material inputs using templates and support from technical leads.
