Accounts Receivables - Gujarati Speaking

Job Type: Full Time

Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, Professional Certificate

Job Field: Finance / Accounting / Audit

Job Purpose: The Accounts Receivables Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's credit policies, accounts receivable, and debt collection processes for customers purchasing our client's products. This role ensures the company maintains healthy cash flow by minimizing outstanding debts while fostering strong customer relationships. The role will work closely with various internal departments, including sales, marketing, and accounting, to establish and enforce credit terms and processes.

Responsibilities:

Credit Risk Assessment – Assess customer creditworthiness, set/review credit limits, monitor payment history, and align credit policies with business objectives.

Accounts Receivable Management – Manage receivables, monitor aging reports, follow up on outstanding payments, approve orders within policy, and release orders upon payment.

Debt Collection – Negotiate payment plans, recover overdue accounts, escalate complex cases, and provide collection status updates.

Credit Policy Management – Develop, implement, review, and improve credit policies and control processes.

Reporting & Documentation – Prepare receivables, debt, cash flow, and KPI reports while maintaining accurate records.

Customer Onboarding & Relationship Management – Assess new customers, establish credit terms, resolve billing issues, and maintain positive customer relationships.

Risk Management – Identify credit risks, implement mitigation strategies, manage escalations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Training, Compliance & Collaboration – Train internal teams, supervise credit staff, collaborate with sales and legal teams, support industry-specific credit practices, and perform other assigned duties.

Profile:

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

The candidate must be able to read, write, and speak Gujarati, Hindi, Swahili, and English fluently.

Professional certification in Credit Management is an added advantage.

Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in credit control or debt management, preferably in healthcare, medical, or medical equipment sales.

Inventory Officer

Job Type: Full Time

Qualification: BA/BSc/HND, Professional Certificate

Experience: 1 - 2 years

Location: Nairobi

Job Field: Procurement / Store-keeping / Supply Chain

Main Purpose of Job: Efficiently manage the organization's inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess or wastage in line with the requirements of the company operations.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Inventory Management:

Oversee the complete inventory lifecycle including stocking, usage, and disposal.

Monitor and report on inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

Conduct regular Inventory risk and audit assessments and develop controls to improve efficiencies.

Prepare, issue and keep record of delivery notes for inventory-related requests.

Keep record and track of material received and dispatched and support in inventory reconciliation in physically and in Zoho.

Support implementation of inventory management automation and process improvement initiatives, including but not limited to material requests process.

Financial Reporting:

Develop and maintain detailed financial records related to inventory, ensuring accurate cost tracking, valuation, and accounting for all stock items. Ensure the inventory data is up-to-date at any given time.

Record and monitor all inventory transactions, including purchases, adjustments, and disposals, to ensure completeness and accuracy in financial statements.

Reconcile inventory accounts regularly to verify that the physical stock matches the financial records and address any discrepancies.

Create comprehensive financial reports that detail inventory costs, stock movements, and project-related expenses. These reports should include cost analyses, variance reports, and profitability assessments.

Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvements.

Provide insights and recommendations based on financial report findings to support strategic decision-making and optimize inventory management.

Work closely with the finance team to ensure that inventory financial records are aligned with broader company accounting practices and financial reporting requirements.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies related to inventory accounting and financial reporting.

Project Support:

Work closely with project managers to understand project requirements and align inventory management with project timelines.

Ensure timely availability of necessary equipment and materials for ongoing installations and projects.

Address and resolve any inventory-related issues that may impact project deadlines or quality.

System Integration:

Utilize inventory management software and systems to track and manage stock efficiently.

Assist in the integration of new inventory management technologies or processes as needed.

Maintain accurate records within the inventory management system and ensure data integrity.

Compliance and Audit:

Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management and financial reporting.

Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and resolving any audit findings related to inventory.

Requirements:

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Proven 1-2 years of experience as an Inventory Accountant, or in a similar role, preferably in the IT or technology sector.

Strong understanding of inventory management principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in stock accounting software and inventory management systems.

Required Skills:

Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate actionable insights.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and vendors.

Certification in Inventory Management (CIMA) or Accounting (CPA) or Supply Chain Management (CIPS-UK / CPSP-K).

Experience with project-based inventory management.

Familiarity with technology and IT equipment related to CCTV, access control, and other systems mentioned.
