POSITION 1: History and Civic Education Instructor We seek a dedicated educator to instruct students in History and Civic Education. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or a related field, along with a valid teaching certification. Proficiency in curriculum development, classroom management, and student engagement is essential. Responsibilities include delivering dynamic lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering critical thinking through historical analysis and civic awareness. The role requires strong communication skills, adaptability to diverse learning needs, and a commitment to inclusive, student-centered instruction. The position involves ensuring adherence to established rules governing student behavior and disciplinary measures. Crafting and executing an engaging, demanding, and academically rigorous curriculum forms a core responsibility of this role. Crafting and executing lesson plans with a focus on tailored differentiation strategies is a key responsibility of this role. Ensuring each lesson meets the diverse needs of students through thoughtful adjustments remains a priority throughout instruction. Enriching collaborative learning experiences across all facets of the school community. Designing student-centered learning environments that cultivate critical thinking abilities, subject expertise, and diverse skill sets while fostering a culture grounded in trust, mutual respect, and equity. To identify appropriate resources and utilize digital tools effectively in order to facilitate and elevate the learning experience. Create and implement suitable assessment activities, delivering prompt and constructive feedback to foster students’ academic progress. Professionally engage with students, parents, and colleagues through clear and effective communication. Offer compassionate and timely pastoral care whenever required. Contribute proactively to the school’s extracurricular initiatives, fostering engagement and development among students. Any other assigned duties POSITION 2: Revised: We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Temporary Teacher of Agricultural Science to deliver engaging and informative lessons to students. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in agricultural education, with expertise in practical and theoretical aspects of the subject. Key responsibilities include planning and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a dynamic learning environment. The role requires excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for inspiring students in the field of agricultural science. Prior to teaching experience, particularly in a secondary school setting, is highly desirable. This temporary position offers an opportunity to contribute to the academic growth of students while gaining valuable teaching experience. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assuming responsibility for an Agricultural Science class, we are committed to fostering the growth, well-being, and comprehensive development of every student in the class, demonstrating a sincere dedication to their overall progress. Collaborating with the Head Teacher and other team members, we ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences. The ideal candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in history, education, or a related field, along with a valid teaching certification. Prior experience in curriculum development and classroom instruction is essential. Bachelors’ Degree in Education-Science For the position of Temporal Teacher of Agricultural Science, candidates must hold a degree from an accredited institution. A background in Biology and Chemistry instruction would be particularly beneficial for candidates applying for the Temporal Teacher of Agricultural Science position. Registered and fully licensed educators with The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) are required for this position. Proficient knowledge of the examination frameworks administered by the Examinations Council of Zambia (ECG) and Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAME) is required. ZARA-certified documents are issued by the Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZARA), ensuring their validity and compliance with national educational and professional standards. These documents are required for career advancement, academic verification, and legal recognition in Zambia, confirming that the qualifications they represent meet the established criteria for professional practice or further education.
